Inviting Your Co-Parent

When to Invite

Invite your co-parent when you're ready to:

  • Share the calendar in real-time
  • Use platform messaging instead of email
  • Enable the expense approval workflow
  • Have synchronized records

Not ready? That's fine. Solo Mode works completely. You can invite them later, or never.

Step-by-Step

  1. Go to Settings → Family Members
  2. Click "Invite Co-Parent"
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Optionally add a personal message
  5. Click Send Invitation

What They Receive

Your co-parent receives an email with:

  • Your name and a brief explanation
  • A link to create their account
  • A note that the platform is free for them (family-based pricing)

If They Don't Accept

The invitation remains pending. You can:

  • Resend the invitation
  • Cancel and try a different email
  • Continue in Solo Mode indefinitely

Important: Their non-participation doesn't limit your functionality. Solo Mode gives you everything you need to maintain organized records.
