Pinning Messages to Timeline

Why Pin Messages?

Some messages contain important information you'll want to reference later:

  • Agreements ("I'll pay for the braces")
  • Commitments ("I'll pick up at 3pm every Wednesday")
  • Concerning statements you want documented
  • Positive moments you want to remember

How to Pin

  1. Find the message you want to pin
  2. Click the Pin icon (📌) next to the message
  3. A modal appears asking for:
    • Category — Agreement, Medical, School, Concern, etc.
    • Private notes — Your thoughts (only you see these)
    • Related children — Which children does this concern?
  4. Click Save to Timeline

What Happens

  • A Timeline entry is created with the message content
  • The original message remains in the conversation
  • Your private notes are only visible to you
  • The message shows a "pinned" indicator

Pinning Entire Conversations

You can also pin an entire conversation thread if the whole discussion is significant.
