Creating Your Account
Step-by-Step
- Go to coparentcompass.com and click "Get Started" or "Sign Up"
- Choose your plan — Solo or Family
- Enter your details — Name, email, and secure password (minimum 12 characters)
- Select your role — Tell us who you are (Mom, Dad, Guardian, etc.)
- Complete payment — Pay securely with Credit Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay to start your 30-day free trial
- Add your family — Enter co-parent details (email optional for Solo) and your children
That's it! You'll be taken directly to your Dashboard where you can start using CoParentCompass.
What Happens After Signup
After completing signup, you'll see your Dashboard immediately. From there you can:
- Set up your custody schedule
- Explore the Calendar, Timeline, and other features
- Customize your family settings
Solo Mode vs. Co-Parent Mode
Solo Mode (your co-parent hasn't joined yet or is on a different plan)
- Full access to Calendar, Timeline, Documents, and external messaging
- Expense tracking (you record what you've paid and what's owed)
- External communication via email that's logged in your records
- All documentation features work completely
Co-Parent Mode (both parents on the platform with Family plan)
- All Solo Mode features plus:
- Direct platform messaging with read receipts
- Shared expense approval workflow
- Real-time schedule change requests
- Synchronized calendar views
You don't need to choose—the system automatically adapts based on whether your co-parent has joined.
