Logging Deviations

What is a Deviation?

A deviation is when what actually happened differs from the scheduled plan. Common examples:

  • Co-parent picked up 30 minutes late
  • You kept the children an extra night due to illness
  • Exchange happened at a different location

Why Log Deviations?

  • Keeps an accurate history of actual parenting time
  • Documents patterns (consistently late pickups, etc.)
  • Private to you unless you choose to share
  • Useful for court documentation if needed

How to Log

  1. Click on a past event in the Calendar
  2. Select "Log Deviation"
  3. Enter what actually happened:
    • Actual start time
    • Actual end time
    • Location (if different)
    • Notes explaining why
  4. Save the deviation

Privacy

Deviation logs are private by default. Only you see them. They appear in your Timeline and can be included in exports if you choose.
