Art Studio

Overview

The Art Studio is a creative space where children can express themselves through drawing and coloring. It is available for all age groups, with tools tailored to their developmental stage.

Age-Appropriate Experience

Young Children (5-8)

  • Simple tools: Brush, Fill, Stickers
  • Bright colors and fun stamps
  • Easy "Start Over" button

Tweens (9-12)

  • More colors and brush sizes
  • Additional tools like Shapes and Spray Paint
  • "Treehouse" and "Clubhouse" themes

Teens (13+)

  • Advanced tools including Opacity control
  • Full color palette
  • Sophisticated interface

Privacy & Storage

To ensure maximum privacy and compliance with child safety regulations (COPPA):

  • Local Storage Only: Artwork is saved directly on the specific device (tablet, phone, or computer) where it was created. It is NOT uploaded to the cloud or shared automatically between devices.
  • No Sharing: Children cannot send artwork to parents or others through the platform. This is a private creative space.

Parent Controls

Parents can manage the Art Studio from the Child Portal settings on the same device used by the child:

  1. View Gallery: See the collection of saved artwork on that device.
  2. Download: Export all artwork as a ZIP file to save or print.
  3. Clear Gallery: Free up space by deleting all artwork from the device.

Note: Because art is stored locally, you must perform these actions on the specific device your child uses.
