Managing Your Schedules

Schedule Statuses

Active

  • The schedule currently driving the calendar.
  • Only one Active schedule per child (though one schedule can cover multiple children).

Standby

  • Draft or alternative schedules ready to go.
  • Not visible on the main calendar.
  • Use these to plan future changes or keep backups.

Archived

  • Old schedules you no longer use but want to keep for records.

Schedule Actions

On the Custody Schedules page, click any schedule card to see options:

Activate

  • Make a Standby schedule live.
  • You'll choose the Activation Date.
  • Current active schedules involving these children will be moved to Standby automatically.

Move to Standby

  • Deactivate a running schedule without deleting it.
  • Useful if you're switching to a temporary manual plan or resetting.

Archive

  • Move old schedules out of view.
  • You can add an optional Archive Reason (e.g., "Switched to summer plan") for your records.
  • Archived schedules can be restored later if needed.

Delete

  • Permanently remove Draft/Standby schedules that were never active.
